I believe that in life, we all need someone to look up to—a “life peg,” as I like to call it. Someone who inspires us, motivates us, and pushes us to become better versions of ourselves. This is especially important during our lowest moments when we need a reminder to keep going.
Celebrities aren’t just entertainers. With their massive influence, they also play a bigger role—to be an inspiration.
Here are some amazing women I personally admire. Just by watching them navigate life, I feel inspired and motivated to do better.
1. Bianca Gonzales Intal

Bianca is a host, model, author, wife, and mother. She wrote the book Paano Ba ‘To?! How to Survive Growing Up, which happens to be one of my favorites. It’s packed with advice based on her personal experiences, making it relatable and heartfelt. Reading it feels like getting guidance from an older sister who has been through it all and survived.
Now, she’s sharing even more wisdom on her YouTube channel, where she gives advice on different life concerns. It’s the kind of content we should all be watching more often. She also proves that “You’re never too old to dream a new dream,” as she started vlogging later in her career.
I truly admire her. She’s empowered, inspiring, and manages to balance her work and personal life so well—exactly how I hope to be.

2. Gretchen Ho

Gretchen first gained popularity as a volleyball player for Ateneo, but she didn’t stop there. After graduating, she successfully transitioned into hosting, opening doors to new adventures and experiences.
What I love most about her is her fearless personality. She’s always up for a challenge, constantly testing her limits and refusing to settle. The craziest thing I’ve seen her do? Wing walking! She literally stood on a plane wing mid-flight, strapped into a chair. Talk about fearless!
She’s disciplined, adventurous, and just radiates positive energy. #WomanInAction indeed!

3. Iya Villania-Arellano

Hands down, this super mom amazes me! Iya Villania-Arellano juggles being a wife, mother to five kids, and a TV host—all while staying incredibly fit.
What blows my mind is how she keeps hitting the gym even while pregnant! She makes pregnancy look effortless, still running and lifting weights with a big belly. Of course, this is because fitness has always been part of her lifestyle, but still, it’s inspiring to see how she prioritizes her health while being such a hands-on mom.
As a mom myself, I can’t help but look up to her.

4. Anne Curtis Smith-Heussaff

Anne Curtis has this fun, positive energy that’s just contagious. Whether she’s on TV or on social media, she spreads so much joy.
What I admire most about her is her heart for helping others. She’s a UNICEF Advocate for Children and founded Dream Machine, a foundation that helps people achieve their dreams.
On top of that, she keeps pushing herself to achieve more. In the same year, she launched her own makeup brand (BLK Cosmetics) and held a concert. Who says you have to be a singer to have a concert? Anne proves that if you want something, go for it—no matter what others say.

5. Solenn Heussaff-Bolzico

Actress, artist, model, cook, host—Solenn does it all! She wears so many hats but still manages everything so gracefully.
Her paintings, especially her #SolennArt collection, amaze me because they highlight everyday Filipino life in such a beautiful way.
If I ever got the chance to spend a day with her, I know I’d come home with a million lessons learned. She inspires me to manage my time better and reminds me that if she can do it, we all can—as long as we prioritize what truly matters.

6. Sarah Asher Geronimo-Guidicelli

And of course, I can’t forget my all-time favorite, Sarah Geronimo!
She’s a total powerhouse on stage but so humble and soft-spoken off-stage. That balance is something I truly admire.
Beyond her music career, she’s also passionate about animal welfare and the environment. She and her husband, Matteo, follow a plant-based diet and even rescue animals, including horses, on their farm in Paete, Laguna.
I love her so much that I even named my child “Asher” after her. Teehee!
These women are my life pegs. They remind me that I can achieve my dreams if I put in the hard work and passion.
Someday, I hope to be an inspiration too—empowering the people around me and using social media for good.
P.S. These are just my personal picks! If you have other amazing women in mind, drop their names in the comments. I’d love to know who inspires you!
